A Social Media Coach, Entrepreneur, Writer, and Creator of @achievetheimpossible who lives in the tropical paradise of Noosa, Australia. He has an unrelenting passion to inspire, challenge and equip people with the strategies to achieve their ‘impossible’ dreams.

I’m truly fascinated by the words ‘capacity’ and ‘potential’. These two words represent the possibility of the future and confront the concept of the ‘impossible’.

With this desire to see people pursue their full potential, I completed a Bachelor of Teaching to become a Qualified Kindergarten Teacher.

Teaching gave me the privilege of witnessing first-hand, children achieving what once seemed impossible. Whether it was writing their name for the first time, or stringing phonetical sounds together to read their first words, these moments encapsulated my life’s purpose – to facilitate and equip people to achieve what once seemed impossible.

The look on the children’s faces were priceless; the feeling of achieving your impossible is truly something magical!

Growing up in the idyllic paradise of New Zealand, I had always been passionate about bringing out the best in people. Whether that was through my teaching career, or one-on-one coffee catch-ups with the odd goal-setting session thrown in there with friends, I loved being surrounded by people and their dreams, goals and ambitions.

This was keeping that flame flickering inside me, but I had the feeling there was more, personally,  for me to give. The problem was, I just had no idea how to do it! I let flame flicker quietly in the depths of my heart…

Fast forward a few years, I jumped across the Tasman Sea with my family to the tropical paradise of Noosa, Australia.

And this is where the story of an Instagram account called @achievetheimpossible begins…

After receiving the heart-breaking news of my Dad being diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer in late 2013, given just months to live, I decided it was time to start living the life I knew deep down I was truly capable of living.

This challenged and inspired me to create a life that would leave a legacy that would encourage and equip people around the world to pursue their God-given dreams and fulfil their purpose.

In March 2014, when my beloved Dad passed away, four months to the day after his diagnosis, he was extremely proud of @achievetheimpossible and it’s 3,000 followers at the time. He truly thought the world of that, and the times when he would ask me (and it was almost every day!) how many new followers I had, were, and are now still some of my most treasured memories.

Today, @achievetheimpossible lives on as my Dad’s legacy. A legacy that inspires hundreds of thousands of people from all over the globe every single day. It brings a huge smile to my face when I think about him looking down and watching this journey unfold.

As ATI grows, so does the ongoing ripple effect of that one decision to CREATE.

Today, that has given me the incredible blessing to connect with world-class thinkers and people with an insatiable passion to inspire those around them.

Fast forward to today, I now approach the next major leap in my future – condensing my focus and passion into coaching people individually and speaking to groups who know there is more in store for them. People, who, like me, are fascinated by the word ‘potential’, and what a future could look like when the power of that potential is realized.

I believe we’ve been given our dreams and desires for a reason. It’s up to us to trust them enough to pursue them!

One of my all time favourite quotes is by one of our generation’s finest and most well-respected actors, Denzel Washington.

“True desire in the heart for anything good is God’s proof to you sent beforehand to indicate that it’s yours already. So the desire you have, that itch that you have to be whatever it is you want to be … that desire for good is God’s proof to you, sent already to indicate that it’s yours. You already have it. Claim it.” – Denzel Washington

You’ve been given your dreams and desires for a purpose. Some of you know that purpose and are pursuing it fervently, others are still figuring it out. Either way, you must acknowledge the place where you’re at right now and focus on that next step to take. It’s up to you to cultivate and nurture those gifts, talents and abilities within you to transform those dreams into reality.

If you’ve read this far (and I’m assuming you have because you’re clearly reading this right now), thank you. Thank you for becoming a part of my dreams becoming reality.

Together, let’s achieve our ‘impossible’ dreams and create the life we know we are capable of living!
